A182-F309 is  the low carbon version of the alloy. It is utilized for ease of fabrication
We use EAF+VOD-ESR melting methods to melt the material of A182-F309 
As per heat treatment of A182-F309 forged parts, it is Annealing. Heat between 1 050oC and 1 150oC and water quench.  This treatment ensures that all carbides are in solution.  Stress Relieving  250-400oC for 1 hour.

A182-F309 is used exclusively for its high temperature oxidation resistance
