A182-F6NM has a good corrosion resistance in a moderate corrosive environment which has no chloride. The surface condition has a large part in the corrosion resistance. The resistance of this material is much better with polished surface than the same material with rough surface.
The cold work hardening rate of 6NM makes it less machinable than 410 stainless steel, but similar to 304
